Catholic Charities, Inc. - Archdiocese of Hartford is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit social service organization whose mission is to provide programs focused on maximizing human potential for all age groups regardless of race, ethnic background, religion, or economic circumstances. Catholic Charities serves Hartford, Litchfield, and New Haven Counties. The agency will be celebrating its 90th year of service to low-income individuals, children, and families from some of the neediest communities in Connecticut. Catholic Charities offers a wide range of programs to culturally and ethnically diverse families, youth, and children including individual, marital, parent-child, and family therapies; domestic violence programs; marriage and parenting education; family strengthening; adoption services; early childhood education, case management and recreational activities; basic human needs; group homes; substance abuse treatment and, refugee, employment, youth, and elderly services.
