Family Centers

Family Centers' mission is to empower children, adults, families and communities to realize their potential.  Our NAEYC accredited preschools, school-based social work, parental education and adolescent counseling services, give families the resources they need to ensure their children have the bright beginnings they deserve.  A comprehensive network of counseling and support services is also instrumental in helping families in crisis work toward a successful resolution.

Vocational training, housing resources, counseling and self sufficiency programs also help low-income people and those with long-term mental illness realize their dreams of living independently.  Meanwhile, our senior outreach programs encourage lifelong learning, socialization and support.  More than 1,400 professionals and trained volunteers work collaboratively to ensure the needs of the communities in lower Fairfield County are met.
